My #1 problem......

is not following threw.  I am all excited and planned and prepped for the week, but Wednesday/Thursday rolls around and boom I hit a lazy spot.  I don't eat what I have planned, I will order something in, or just will munch of things rather then just cooking my supper or packing a decent lunch.

How do I improve that?  I don't know.  I am hoping this week will be better and I can stick to what I have planned out.  Perhaps, my problem is boredom of not eating something I actually want, rather then just eating healthy veggies and good meats?  I have to maybe just find recipes or ways to make my food more exciting or flavorful so that I don't get bored?

On the exercise front, I went for a walk with the dog yesterday and I am sure out of shape again.  I was so exhausted, my back was hurting.  I need to get my body back the way it was, used to exercising....and with 20 lbs back on, it will make it harder then it was.

Goal for this week:  Stick to the plan, stay focused, stay away from the bad food isles in the store.

First offical week.....

17 Day Diet first official week.  I loaded my shopping cart up with veggies, seriously even the clerk commented on all the veggies I had!  lol  All the yummy fruits allowed, and turkey meat which I am not used to eating, but I gotta become creative on what I cook.

Day 1 Meal:

Breakfast - 2 hard boiled eggs, 1 orange, green tea
Lunch: Big salad with Tuna fish, flax seed oil & balsamic vinegar for dressing
Dinner:  Ground Turkey lettuce wraps loaded with veggies (will include second healthy oil), probiotic
Snacks: will be strawberries, blueberries, probiotic and green tea

I am excited for this week and looking forward to a good loss!

17 Day Diet

The hottest, well maybe not hottest but one of the newest diets being tried by many people these days.  Everyone that I know that is doing it, is losing weight fast and consistently, so I decided to order the book.  I am patiently waiting for it to arrive, which is supposed to be Monday.  I know the ins and outs of what to do to start, pretty much cut out all carbs.   I've been on really restricted diets before and they have worked, so I am hoping this will work for me.

I have noticed the past couple days that my blood sugar is really effed up.  The other day at work I had extreme shakes, and then about a month ago while driving my vision was a bit blurred.  First time that has happened to me.  Since putting at least 20 labs back on I fell my self going back into the slump I was before.  And, going up and down in weight isn't good for the body at all.  Soon I won't be able to wear my newish jeans anymore, I know my summer pants won't fit me.  So I am needing to nip this in the butt before I am able to wear those clothes again.

I am planning on starting the diet Monday.  The toughest thing for me will be the no sugar, Lord knows I love my chocolate and candy.  But this is something I have to do.
