Take that!
Holiday gain.....what holiday gain???

Went to WI today, lost what I gained and plus some..........4 lbs down!! Woooot!! So freaking happy and proud right now.

I gotta stick to it, and not eat anything bad this weekend if I want this to continue. Drinking water helps, going for my walks with Marley has an impact as well I'm sure. Focus Focus Focus, key point.

Christmas Holidays
1 cookie, 2 cookie, 3 cookie 4.........annd now repeat. I can't even count how many sqs, cookies, nuts, cake I ate. Among all that, turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, perogies galore. It is oh so VERY clear to me that carbs and sugar are the culprits that made me fat.........well play a rather large roll in it anyway.

4 days off program and it has cost me 2.6 lbs gain. Not tooo bad I guess, but I was honestly expecting at least 3-4 lbs up.

So, today I went and got veggies and stuck with it allll day. Guzzled the water, went for a long walk/jog with Marley today and cleaned like crazy as well. I AM going to get that 2.6 gain off, yes oh yes I am. And by time I know it, I will be back where I was and/or even better by the end of this week!!!

Fabulous Friday!
What is the best Christmas present I can ask for?
A good weigh in! Yup, nothing exciting for the average Joe, but for me, it's another kick ass loss. Yup, my total so far is 24.4 down. I had my measurements today, and 4 inches off my waist and 2 off my hips.
I notice it in my clothes a lot, especially in my t-shirts and even my bras. In a month, when I keep losing, I will need to get some new clothes for sure. Perfect timing for my vacation to New Orleans and Arizona, shopping is going to be wonderful. I will have to buy some clothes in smaller sizes for sure.
I am so pumped and happy right now, I can dance around the house, and I want to scream it on the the roof top.
Yay me! : )

Update....
So, I am back at it again with losing weight. I started about the middle of September, the start up was a struggle, I had my ups and downs. I don't think it gets easy per say, but it isn't as hard as right at the beginning.
I am down, 16 lbs so far. Cutting out sugar and carbs is the key for me it seems. I am a chocoholic, candy addict as well, and I miss it so very much, but so far I haven't had any of that for a month at least (especially chocolate, which is shocking).
My main cravings right now are for deep dried foods. When I do have that craving, I will subsitute it for breaded baked chicken or something that will trick my mind in thinking I have had "deep fried".
I am trying to work on getting water in. I am not a drinker of much really, so I have to force my self to get some kind of liquid in. I do crystal light, water with lemon, herbal teas and diet sodas.
Tomorrow is Monday, and back to the hard grind of staying healthy.

Pfffftttt......
Yes, pfffft is right, been slacking hugely on the blogging and the weight loss.
I've slipped big time, stayed OP for hmmm maybe a week and half. When will I ever let it stick? It is so tough for me to stay with things, the dedication isn't there and I gotta gotta gotta find my mojo.
Anyway, not much to report here, just that I've been a major slacker!

Back in the saddle again......
So, here I go again, about hmmmm time # 1294.
I have started counting calories again and just watching what I am eating. It's crazy to see how calories add up, even if it's something like fruit or veggies, or just something basic as toast and jam.
My Day #1 Daily Cal intake is 1900. Today I went over by 190 cals (boo hiss) but it will take me time to realize what is higher then other things, and just get used to the whole calorie thing.
Summer Eating Tips (from Calorie Counter):
Fat vs. Lean
The traditional cookout and barbecue menu is loaded with fat, and fat has twice the calories of other energy-producing nutrients. Fat is “marbled” throughout the meat, even, we don’t even see it, and fat forms the basis of many a side-salad and dessert. (By now, everyone knows that mayonnaise and cream are primarily fat.) By switching from high-fat to low-fat meats, salads and desserts, you can prepare a complete and appealing meal without breaking the calorie budget - and that can make the difference between losing weight or not. Note: meats shown here are in 6-ounce portions, although 3 to 5 ounces is enough for many people - for the whole day!

Another awesome weekend!
This past weekend I went to Kelowna and had an awesome time with the BC girls!!! Pam was nice enough to open her house up to all of us and use it for party central. Joni flew in from Carberry, MB; Tamie, Angi, Lisa, and Amber drove in from Vancouver, Michelle and Azzie came as well.
Saturday we went for a wine tour to Summerhill Winery, tasted wine. Then we went for a
lunch where we met up with Lovesong and Karebear from the GDT. The highlight of the lunch was the waiter and whipping cream, enough said. haha We organized a last minute sex party, which was awesome!!!
Sunday was the day everyone went home! :( I love it there, I love BC, it is just beautiful. I am so lucky to have such wonderful woman in my life and have such strong friend ships. I love all my girls, and can NOT wait to see you all again!!
