So, Whasss Up??


Not much happening with me............


Had a bad weekend of eating shitty food, need to get my groove back. Easier said then done right??


What are the steps to take to make a person make the right steps to a great life?


I believe one has to have a great mind set and make things happen for them. Friends and family will always be there for support, but it's just to make it happen for your self. For me, I have yet to find it. No matter how much support I have I can't seem to have it stick with me. Maybe I need to work on being more positive and look at things deep within my self. Why am I overweight, what can I do to stay motivated, what do I need to keep going with things?


No more excuses (probably said that a million times already). It has to happen, it needs to be done. I have so many things to look forward to in the next few months. I have lots I want to accomplish in life as far as work, education, travel.


Did anything I say make sense? haha I ramble with my thoughts and when I put them down sometimes they just don't gel together.

Bella, can I make a suggestion? Okay here goes... (deep breath)

The GDT forum is great. It's fun, it's supportive, and it's a fantastic place to congregate.

For me, when I was ONLY using the GDT forum, I found it was easy for me to NOT follow the program every day. So much of the GDT is off topic (which is why it's called the GDT, of course), that it really didn't give me the focus I needed.

I started posting on other forums, and staying on topic there. For me it was the Core Board, but now, since I'm not truly on Core, it's the Food Talk board. We discuss food. And the program. And help each other to stay accountable. And it's a safe place to confess then turn our behaviours around.

It's not off topic, and we work to keep it that way. I would suggest, with absolute love, that if you truly want to make this change for YOU, that you take a bit of time to visit the FT board and check us out. You will see some familiar names there.

I still visit the GDT to catch up with everyone, and keep my fingers in the gossipy pies which I love so much, and to bitch, moan, whine or cheer for whomever needs it.

But for ME, for MY health, for MY program, it's the FoodTalk Board.

I hope I see you there...
